課程概述 |
THE COURSE FOCUSES ON THE MARKETING OF SERVICE, SINCE TECHNOLOGY HAS BLURRED THE LINE BETWEEN GOODS AND SERVICES. BOTH CARRY EACH OTHER’S CHARACTERISTICS AND, TOGETHER, THEY CONSTITUTE AN INTEGRATED SOLUTION THAT FIRMS MUST OFFER TO MAXIMIZE CUSTOMER VALUE. |
課程目標 |
THE PRIMARY FORM OF INSTRUCTION USED IN THIS COURSE IS THE CASE METHOD. THROUGH THE CASE METHOD, YOU WILL BE EXPOSED TO REAL-LIFE SITUATIONS THAT CREATE A CHALLENGING LEARNING ENVIRONMENT IN WHICH YOU CAN SHARE OPINIONS AND PERSPECTIVES AND LEARN FROM ONE ANOTHER. |

THIS THREE-HOUR COURSE IS DIVIDED INTO THE FOLLOWING SESSIONS:
14:20~14:50 CONCEPTUAL READING PRESENTATION
14:50~15:20 CONCEPTUAL READING Q&A
15:30~16:00 CASE PRESENTATION
16:00~16:30 CASE Q&A
16:40~17:10 VIDEO CASE DISCUSSION
STUDENTS WILL FORM 8 DISCUSSION GROUPS. EACH GROUP IS REQUIRED TO FULFILL THE FOLLOWING REQUIREMENTS:
1. PREPARE TO PRESENT THE READINGS MARKED WITH “ALL GROUPS.” THE PRESENTING GROUP WILL BE DRAWN RANDOMLY IN THE CLASS.
2. PRESENT ONE CONCEPTUAL READING AND ONE CASE AS SCHEDULED IN THE COURSE OUTLINE.
3. PRESENTATION REQUIREMENTS:
MAKE A 30-MINUTE PRESENTATION FOLLOWED BY A 30-MINUTE Q&A.
APPLY THE CONCEPTUAL READINGS TO YOUR PRESENTATION.
PRESENT A BALANCED VIEW OF THE CASE.
PRESENT INTERESTING QUESTIONS AND ISSUES THAT WILL GENERATE DISCUSSION.
USE REAL WORLD WEBSITES TO ILLUSTRATE YOUR CASE AND TO INFORM YOUR DISCUSSION.
UPDATE THE CASE.
4. DEVELOP AND PRESENT AN E-MARKETING PLAN ON A SELF-SELECTED TOPIC.
